I have been obsessed with making hexipuffs for my beekeeper’s quilt the last week. I have about ten finished so I may have this project done by the time I’ve acquired my master’s degree, but that is alright. They are such fun little things.

I had to go out and buy sock wool because I, being a new knitter, did not have the wonderful stock-pile of left overs so many people seem to have. I’m choosing greys, blues, greens and purples to mimic the coast of the pacific northwest, a place I will always be homesick for. 

Oh, and I have accomplished putting cables in them. Fancy.
